Recap 1

I have been very late in updating this, so I will write many posts in order to catch up (oops!).

This picture is of what I first ate in Japan. Two pastries, orange juice, and apple juice! The apple juice tasted like apple cider so it was kind of strange, but tasted really good! The name on the bag is the bakery I mentioned in the last post. I forgot to get a picture of the building before we left....

While we were walking around town, we found a fruit shop! All the fruit in there looked amazing!  And it better've, because the fruit was at least 5 dollars a piece. And individually wrapped. Dad was really curious about how it would taste, so he bought both peach for himself and an apple for me. the next morning, we ate the fruit and it was so good! The apples taste like apple cider! I was wondering why all the apple juice here tasted like that, but I guess it makes sense since the apples taste like that.

We went to the bakery again this afternoon. It's kinda set up like a buffet where you pick out everything you want then they take the pastries ring up the price and heat them up for you. The ones on the far upper right were our favorite!

We leave for Kyoto this morning! We have to ride the regular train to Shinagawa and then take the Shinkansen out to Kyoto. At Kyoto Station, I will meet a people from Kansai who will take me on the long drive to Kansai Gaidai! Getting my luggage to the trains (there are only stairs to the trains) and into and off the trains will be very difficult... *nervous chuckle*

On the Shinkansen there were two people who I would've sworn looked like Shinhwa! I really wanted to ask! >.<!!!! One of them was even wearing a shirt that I recognized from tv... But I didn't ask(baka!). They got off at Nagoya, not Kyoto. :(

We made it to Kyoto fine and we found where I was supposed to go! Dad had to leave immediately to jump onto the train back to Tokyo. So I didn't really get to say goodbye. *sad*

I then got onto a bus with about 20 other students and set off for Kansai Gaidai.
